Barefoot Computing – top marks!

Barefoot Computing gets my vote!barefoot

Have you visited the Barefoot Computing site recently?  If not, then it really is time to give it another visit and browse through some of the excellent resources and support for teachers on the site.  Barefoot Computing is designed to help primary school teachers teach the computer science elements of the new primary computing curriculum.   They have developed free high-quality, practical resources and computer science workshops to support primary school teachers in England.

You will definitely find something on there that will help you with your planning and teaching:

  • Plan – resources mapped to the computer science elements of the primary computing programmes of study
  • Learn – resources to improve computational thinking and computer science subject knowledge
  • Teach – practical activities to teach pupils computer science skills
