Little Red Riding Hood

Northumberland Grid for Learning is a website I enjoy exploring and have recently come across their interactive book ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and other excellent support materials.

The tale of Little Red Riding Hood is presented as an interactive story which allows the user to choose an ending. The text is enhanced by a bank of resources and activities linked with the Renewed Literacy Framework Year 1 Narrative Unit 3 – Traditional and Fairy Stories including a printable A3 or A4 version to use as a big book.

To download one of the Word or SMART Notebook files just right click on the image or link and choose ‘Save Target as’.  Some of the Notebook files are quite large and will take a few minutes to download.

Promethean users can download the resource then locate the Notebook files, right click and select ‘Open with Active Studio’.  The file should then convert to an Active Studio flipchart.  Some aspects may be affected and need slight modification.

See the resources on the The Northumberland Grid for Learning website.
